Submissions

Submissions are closed now. All Authors have been notified as to the status of their papers.

Publication Requirements and Information:

In order to ensure publication, each paper must be:

  1. Presented via a video presentation, uploaded prior to the conference, and viewable by registered participants.
  2. Accompanied by one full registration payment.
  3. Summarized during the live event, by a co-Author.
  • If an Author submits more than one paper to CMS, then additional full registration payment(s) will be required to represent each paper separately.

Video Presentations:

The Video Presentation will be a 20 minute video presenting the Authors’ accepted CIRP CMS 2020 paper. This video will be a recording of a PowerPoint presentation, with audio narration. All videos will be posted and available June 21, and videos will only be shared with registered conference participants.

  • Video file must be named the Full Title of your paper, max 20 words.
  • Be sure to save your PowerPoint recording as a video, MPEG-4 Video file, see Guide below.

Uploading Video File to Conference:

Registered participants and Authors, will receive an email invitation to access the CIRP CMS Box account, where they can upload their video file. Upon accepting the email invitation, users can either create a Box account or use an existing Box account if they have it, to access the CIRP CMS 2020 upload folder.

Conference Day, Research Summary and Q&A:

Summary Slides will be used to display during our live conference event, July 1-3. Conference event hosts will display these slides for viewing, while the presenting Author speaks briefly to event participants about their work and conducts Q&A.

  • Summary Slides must be named the Full Title of your paper, with the word SUMMARY at the end of the file name, max 20 words.
  • Slides should be saved as a regular PowerPoint Presentation file, i.e., (.pptx)
  • The Summary Slides must not exceed the 3 slides offered in the template.

Uploading Summary Slides to Conference:
